Executive Vice President and Head of U.S. Distribution
Robin Beery is Executive Vice President, Head of U.S. Distribution and is a member of Janus' Executive Committee. Ms. Beery also serves as a member of the Janus Capital Group Executive Advisory Board. In addition, she serves as President of the Funds acting as the business liaison between Janus and the fund trustees, and is a member of the board of directors of INTECH and Perkins Investment Management LLC. Ms. Beery joined Janus in August 1994 and has held a variety of leadership positions within the marketing and distribution organizations, including overseeing the firm's retail business. Ms. Beery currently oversees Janus' U.S. distribution business, including sales, client service and consultant relations for the intermediary and institutional channels, as well as marketing and brand strategy and product innovation. Prior to joining Janus, Ms. Beery worked in the distribution organizations at Chicago-based Kemper Financial and American Century in Kansas City. Ms. Beery received her bachelor of arts degree in personnel administration from the University of Kansas and has 20 years of financial industry experience.
David W. Grawemeyer
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
David Grawemeyer is Senior Vice President, General Counsel of Janus Capital Group, a position he has held since May 2011. In this role, Mr. Grawemeyer oversees Janus' Legal and Internal Audit functions, globally. Additionally, he is a member of the Janus Capital Group executive committee. Prior to joining Janus, Mr. Grawemeyer served as a managing director and deputy general counsel at ProLogis, a global provider of distribution facilities and a REIT manager. Prior to joining ProLogis in 2006, Mr. Grawemeyer served as senior vice president and general counsel at Capmark Capital (2003-2006). Mr. Grawemeyer also held positions with Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (2000-2002) and Mayer, Brown & Platt (1989-2000). Mr. Grawemeyer earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics and history from Duke University, where he graduated cum laude, and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. Mr. Grawemeyer has 22 years of legal experience.
Bruce Koepfgen
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Bruce Koepfgen is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Janus Capital Management LLC and Janus Capital Group, a position he has held since July 2011. Mr. Koepfgen joined Janus in May 2011 as Executive Vice President of Finance and Accounting, a position he held until taking over as Chief Financial Officer. In Mr. Koepfgen's current role, he serves as a member of the Janus and Janus Capital Group executive committees and oversees Janus' corporate strategy, finance, corporate accounting, tax and corporate services departments. Prior to joining Janus, Mr. Koepfgen served as Co-CEO of Allianz Global Investors Management Partners and CEO of Oppenheimer Capital from 2003 - 2009. Mr. Koepfgen was also a Managing Director of Salomon Brothers Inc. where he held various positions from 1976 - 1999 and he was president and principal of Koepfgen Company LLC, a management consulting organization, from 1999 - 2003. Mr. Koepfgen earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Michigan and an MBA in finance from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He has more than 35 years of financial industry experience.
Richard M. Weil
Chief Executive Officer
Richard Weil is Chief Executive Officer of Janus Capital Group and also serves as a member of the Janus Capital Group board of directors. In this role, Mr. Weil is responsible for the strategic direction and overall day-to-day management of the firm and leads the firm's two executive committees.
Prior to joining Janus in February 2010, Mr. Weil spent 14 years with PIMCO where most recently he served as the global head of PIMCO Advisory, a member of PIMCO's executive committee, and a member of the board of trustees of the PIMCO Funds. Previous to his appointment as global head of PIMCO Advisory, he served as chief operating officer of PIMCO, a position he held for ten years, in which time he successfully led the development of PIMCO's global business and founded their German operations. Mr. Weil also previously served as PIMCO Advisors L.P.'s general counsel.
Prior to joining PIMCO in 1996, Mr. Weil was with Bankers Trust Global Asset Management and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York. Mr. Weil earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics from Duke University and his juris doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School.
